The ingredients needed to make Chilli Paneer:
  1. Make ready I pk paneer cut into cubes
  2. Get 1 tsp cumin powder
  3. Prepare 2 TBs tomato sauce
  4. Prepare 1 Tbs sweet chilli sauce
  5. Prepare 1 Tbs soy sauce
  6. Take 1 Tbs hot chilli sauce
  7. Take 1-2 chillies cut in slices
  8. Make ready 1 onion diced
  9. Prepare 4 Tbs cornflour
  10. Take Oil for cooking
  11. Prepare Sesame oil for finishing
  12. Make ready Freshly chopped coriander
  13. Get Mixed sweet pepper (optional)
Steps to make Chilli Paneer:
  1. Mix the paneer cubes with the corn flour. In a pan add some oil, shallow fry the coated paneer. Turn on every sides to allow golden all over. Remove set aside.
  2. In the same pan. Add a little oil fry the chopped onions until translucent. Add the peppers and fry until golden. Remove and set aside
  3. In a small bowl mix all the sauces as listed above.
  4. Now add the sauce and the sliced chillies to the onion, taking care as it will spit and together with the chilli hitting the hot oil, the fiery smoke will be quite pungent.
  5. Add the fried paneer, peppers (if using)a little water to make a thick sauce and cook until soft. Taste for seasoning and add salt as required.
  6. Give it all a good mix. Taste for seasoning and adjust.
  7. Drizzle with sesame oil. Remove and serve with few more chillies and chopped coriander.
  8. Enjoy with the preferred accompaniment of your choice.
