  7. Place the chicken on a bed of sautéed leeks. You could also enjoy this dish with a little sansho pepper sprinkled on top.

Chicken thighs will work great too, just cook a little longer. Olive oil: Vegetable oil can be used here as well. Honey: If you don't have this you can use more brown sugar. Combine chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in a large bowl. Add chicken and toss with the sauce until well mixed.
