- Get 1 cup semolina or suji
- Prepare 4 cups boiled water
- Prepare 2 onions finely chopped
- Take 2-3 green chillies chopped

- Get 5-6 Curry leaves
- Prepare leaves As required Chopped coriander
- Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Make ready 1 tsp urad dal

- Prepare 1 tsp ghee
- Take 1 tsp lemon juice
- Make ready As required Barik sev for garnishing
Instructions to make Semolina Upma:
- Firstly dry roast semolina on low flame till it's slightly pinkish in colour and becomes aromatic.
- Now, boil 4 cups of water.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a kadhai and add Mustard seeds, let it splutter, now add urad dal, then add, Curry leaves, Chopped green chillies, grated ginger and chopped onions. Saute well.
- Now add green peas. Cover and cook till peas are soft and tender. Now add roasted semolina and salt. Mix well.
- Now to this add boiling water and keep stirring to avoid formation of any lumps. Mix well cover and cook for another 2 mins.
- Now, finally add chopped coriander leaves, ghee and lemon juice. Switch off the flame
- Serve hot and tasty upma by garnishing it with barik sev with ginger tea
