  1. Rub the pomfrets with salt and keep aside.
  2. Add oil in a pan. Once it get heated add onion paste. Fry till it changes its colour.
  3. Now add the pomfret pieces. Cook them for 3 to 4 mins. Add 1½tbsp of water and salt as per taste. Cook in the medium flame for around 6 mins.
  4. Add chopped green chillies, coconut curry paste, tamarind paste and coconut milk to the pomfret pieces. Stir gently. Garnish with grated coconut and finely chopped coriander leaves.
