  16. Get 1 cup Buttermilk or 1 lemon or 1 tsp Mango powder
  17. Prepare 2 cups Rava
  18. Prepare 1 tsp Coriander finely chopped for garnishing
  19. Make ready as required Tomato pieces for garnishing
  20. Take 2 glasses Water
Instructions to make 🔹Veg Upma:
  1. First of all microwave carrot and peas for 5 minutes and keep it aside for use. - Then roast rava on medium flame till it becomes golden brown in color and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil and ghee in a pan. - Add urad dal to it. - Roast till changes it color in to light golden brown. - Now roast cashewnuts for few seconds. - Then add mustard seeds and let it sputter for few seconds. - After that add cumin seeds,curry leaves and asafoetida. - Now add finely chopped onion and capsicum to it. - Saute till onion becomes translucent.
  3. Then add carrot and peas to it. - Now add water and buttermilk to it. - Add sugar and salt and boil it. - As soon as the water start boiling add slowly rava to it. - While pouring rava simultaneously keep on stiring it. - Check out that no lump should be there in it. - Mix it well.
  4. Then cover it with the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame. - Off the gas and take tiny size bowl. - Put and press upma in it. - And now serve it in a plate. - Garnish it with coriander leaves and tomatoes and enjoy this hot Veg upma.
