Instructions to make Sooji Gulab Jamun:
  1. Roast sooji in a dry non stick pan for 2 minutes and take it in a bowl.
  2. Boil milk in a pan and add ghee and sugar and mix well.
  3. Add roasted sooji slowly and keep stirring constantly Cook till it is completely thick and dry.
  4. Take it in a bowl and cool it down.
  5. Make syrup, by boiling sugar and water in a pan, and cook till one string consistency is obtained.
  6. Add cardamom and saffron and mix well and keep aside
  7. Once the sooji dough is cooled, take small portion from it and roll into a smooth ball.
  8. Heat oil for deep frying, drop balls in medium hot oil and fry till golden.
  9. Drain the balls and add immediately into the syrup. Let it soak and rest for 30 minutes In the sugar syrup
