Instructions to make Udupi Fish Curry:
  1. Clean and wash the fish and keep aside. Chop the green chillies and ginger. Keep ready all grinding ingredients.
  2. Take a pan and heat it. Then add all the ingredients listed in for roasting. Saute it till they turn aromatic and set aside.
  3. In mixer grinder or wet grinder machine add all the ingredients listed in for grinding along with that add roasted ingredients also. With little water blend them in to smooth paste.
  4. Take a vessel then add ground masala then add chopped ginger, chopped green chillies,salt and water to adjust the consistency of the gravy.
  5. Turn on the stove and cook it on a medium flame till gravy comes to boil. Once gravy gets boiling add fish in to it. Let it cook for 10 minutes. Once fish is cooked. Turn off the stove.
  6. Serve the fish curry with hot rice along with some stir fried vegetables.
