  1. Wash the fresh green Chickpeas thoroughly and grind with ginger, garlic and green chillies into a fine paste.
  2. To this paste add buttermilk and mix nicely.
  3. Heat a heavy bottomed pan and add oil to it.Add mustard seeds and methi Dana.When mustard seeds start to crackle add curry leaves.Add the prepared mixture and water.Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder.Bring it to boil.Now add salt and mix nicely.Let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame.In the mean time we will prepare moong daal pakodas.
  4. Coarse grind soaked moong daal with ginger and green chillies.Then add chopped onion,diced potatoes and chopped green chillies.Add salt and mix nicely.Fry the pakodas.To make pakodas,in palace of this daal you can also use yellow split moong daal.
