This dish is fairly healthy and delicious to eat during the fasting season.
Instructions to make Muthiya For Fasting:
- First of all peel the banana and grate it.
- Now add all ingredients. Mix well Knead a dough.
- Now heat the water in a pan and put the steamer to steam the muthiya. Grease it.
- Now take ball from dough, and make logs of it. Put it into the steam it for 15-20 mins.
- Now remove from them steam it and cool it down. Cut it into the peices.
- Now heat the oil into the pan, add cumin seeds, and green chilli, and sesame seeds. As these start crackling, add muthiya peices.
- Mix well. Sprinkle green coriander and serve it.
Team, this irresistible muthiya with amaranth chaas ( buttermilk ) to make a satiating meal. Cook the Muthiya for a minute or two till all the tempering is well coated and you see a pretty golden color. Drizzle some lemon juice on top, mix well and switch off the gas.
