- Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Get 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Make ready 1 tsp pepper powder
Steps to make Pichi Potta Chicken (Shredded Chicken Curry):
- Wash and clean the chicken. Put it in a cooker.
- Put 1tsp salt and 1tsp turmeric along with 1 cup water in the cooker. Cook till two whistles
- Slice onion and chilles
- Heat oil in a pan and put onion and chilli slices fry them.
- Add curry leaves and keep stirring till onion changes it's colour
- Add ginger garlic paste when onion turns lil brown. Let it saute for 2-3mins
- Add tomato slices and mix well
- Add Salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. Mix well
- Add garam masala. Mix well.
- Shred the cooked chicken by making it into pieces
- Add chicken pieces to fried onion. Mix well
- Now put the chicken stock and let the shredded chicken cook again in the madala
- Sprinkle coriander and mix well
- Let it simmer on low flame so that all the water gets evaporated. Take off the stove when all the water evaporates. Add lemon juice to enhance the flavour.
- Serve this with chapathi/roti or white rice…..
