  2. Get 2 medium heads of broccoli
  3. Get 1 package favorite sausage
  4. Get 2 piece of bacon
  5. Get 1 large red bell pepper
  6. Take 1 handful fresh cranberries (optional)
  7. Prepare 1/4 cup olive oil
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp coconut oil

It's topped with an herby Italian salsa verde, which perfectly compliments the smokey sausage and bitter broccoli rabe. You can use broccoli if you can't find rabe, or ever regular broccoli cut into tiny florets. Added shredded cheese and jar of pasta sauce, then transferred to an oven safe dish.

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Cut the top off your squash. Then cut your spaghetti squash length wise down the middle. Be very careful as this can be dangerous! Spoon out all the yucky insides , the guts and seeds.
  3. Brush your olive oil onto your squash flesh side. Add your favorite spices now as well.
  4. Lay your squash oil side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes. In the meantime…
  6. Throw one tablespoon of your coconut oil to a frying pan. Add your cut broccoli . Slowly add sliced red peppers. Once it's all nice and steamy you can add your optional handful of fresh cranberries. This gives it a good bite.
  7. Add your second tablespoon of coconut oil and sausage to another frying pan and brown.
  8. Once the sausage is cooked you can set aside and give the pan a once over with a paper towel and use it to cook your bacon.
  9. Once your squash has done it's 45 minutes you can take it out and use a fork to start "spaghettifying" it. You'll notice there is a lot. Take some out to make room and add it to your cooking veggies. Fry all together.
  10. Add your veggie mix and sausage to your squash bowl. Crumble your bacon on top. You can also add shredded cheese or shake cheese if your diet allows.
  11. Bake for 25 min. Enjoy!

Put extra shredded cheese on top and broiled. Spread in an oven-safe casserole dish. Place spaghetti squash, cut-side down, on greased foil-lined baking sheet. Add turkey sausage and cook until crumbled and lightly brown, draining if necessary, then add chicken broth, tomatoes, half and half, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. I basically swapped the pasta from my Macaroni and Cheese recipe with roasted spaghetti squash and the results were this wonderful!
