  1. Prepare 500 gms cauliflower

  7. Make ready 2 pinches asafoetida
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  9. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. Make ready 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  11. Take 1/4 tsp garam masala
  12. Take 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
  13. Make ready to taste Salt
  14. Take as required fresh coriander leaves chilli flakes and cumin powder to garnish
Steps to make Mashed Cauliflower:
  1. Wash and cut big size floret of cauliflower in the cooker add 1/2 glass of water and 1/2 tsp salt and give one whistle.
  2. Keep it aside in a wok add 2 tsp of oil when it is hot add cumin seeds and asafoetida and finely chopped onions saute it till golden brown.
  3. Add dry masalas mix well.
  4. Now add finely chopped tomatoes green chilli-ginger finely chopped and cook till tomatoes get tender mash them with the spatula you are cooking with.
  5. Now add cauliflower and stir all the mixture together let them mix well while stirring mash the cauliflower with spatula lower the flame sprinkle dry mango powder and roasted cumin powder take out in serving dish garnish with coriander leaves and red chilli flakes
  6. This is a quick recipe with less oil enjoy with chapati or paratha
