The ingredients needed to make Corn palak:
  1. Prepare 500 gm Spinach
  2. Get 1 cup sweet corn
  3. Take 100 gm onions
  4. Take 100 gm tomatoes
  5. Take 3 green chilli
  6. Take 3 tbs butter or oil
  7. Make ready 1 tbs ginger garlic paste
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  10. Get 1 tsp red chili powder
  11. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
  12. Take 1 tsp garam masala
  13. Get 1 cup homemade cream (malai)
  14. Get 5 cup water

These two star ingredients complement each other well not just in flavour and texture, but in looks too. The corn kernels look like shiny pearls laid on bright green silk. Palak corn also known as makai palak is a healthy and tasty Indian curry made from palak (spinach) and sweet corn kernels.

Steps to make Corn palak:
  1. Take 4-5 cups of water in big sauce pan.add whole tomatoes green chilli and onions Bring it to a boil on medium-high heat. Cook tomatoes green chilli and onions 5 minutes. While it is cooking, In another bowl, prepare the ice cold water for cooked spinach. After 5 minutes take out all the ingredients from boiling water in same boiling water add wash and cleaned spinach leaves let it cook for 2 minutes. Then turn off the flame and immediately drain the water using strainer
  2. And immerse that spinach into ice cold water to stop further cooking and now allow the spinach to drain well and now grind in a grinder and make fine paste And also make a paste of boiled tomatoes onions and green chilli and also add water sweet corn and pinch of salt and boil sweet corn in separate pot.
  3. Now heat butter in a pan add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes onions paste mix and saute for 1 minutes now add turmeric powder salt red chili powder coriander powder garam masala and mix it well now add boiled sweet corn and saute for 1 minutes on high flame
  4. Now add spinach paste and cream mix it well turn off the flame when it come to boil
  5. Garnish with cream and ginger julienne and serve with roti
