  1. In a blender add tomatoes and cashew.Make a paste out if it.
  2. Then add 3 tbs of butter in a pan with green cardamom, cinnamon stick to it.Now add the paste of Tomato and cashew and mix it for 2 minutes. Add Garam masala powder, Ginger garlic paste,food colour (optional),salt and sugar to it.Cook it for 20 minutes.
  3. Now in other pan add 2 tbs of butter then add the marinated chicken to it.Fry the chicken till it gets dry.
  4. Now add the fried chicken to the paste cooking in another pan.Add water as per your desire.Cook it for another 15 minutes on medium flame.
  5. When the chicken is completely cooked add Garam masala powder, kasuri methi.Add cream (optional). Enjoy it with pulao or naan or Paratha.

Prepared in a buttery gravy with the addition of cream gives the curry sauce a silky smooth rich texture. The sauce was good but the chicken (we used chicken breast) was a bit chewy.
